Acid PopTart
It’s showtime! This is one of my best mates, Jody Krevens aka DJ Lydia Beatz (get it?) dressed as Lydia and myself as Beetlejuice. Why yes this is one of our favourite movies. These were our second costumes for the Rue Morgue party this past Saturday night where she was spinning all your gothy favourites. I also won second place for the costume contest.  My suit was all white, thrift store finds, and then meticulously painted stripes which was at first done by me and then we discovered just how bad the stripes bled. Damion then took over for me (he’s a precise painter) and finished up the jacket and did the pants while I finished my Bride of Frankenstein costume. It was a costume intensive Halloween! I’ve dubbed it Year of the Monsters.The next night was Liquid Sky Halloween party/birthday party for her, naturally when I was spinning I played the Beetlejuice opening which I then bled into Jump in the Line. It was a really fun weekend packed with costumes and good friends.
