Why I believe in the power of make up and good lighting, not too mention you get away with a lot less in film versus photography. Although some things may only be done with CGI and I’m not against it, we’re using more simple, old school techniques for special effects in Kiss Me Dark. Not too mention the power of make up. It’s why I feel confident in my crew, because this is where we have to put all the cards on the table so to speak.

I just saw this pop up in my feed, and my immediate reaction was:

‘Holy shit. Is that even possible? He has freckles. How in the hell can a coverage give you freckles? I call bullshit. Photoshop. So much photoshop.’

Then I watched this. Now I have to bite my tongue and pick my jaw up off the floor. Good lord, that’s just a bit convincing.

Pity the poor boy can’t act beyond the smouldering stare and trout pout ;D

But we still love him (preferably without the makeup).

I’ve always wondered what he would look like without his tattoos. Definitely check out the behind the scenes video, he’s incredibly sweet talking about being covered up. I especially love when he see’s himself fully covered and he said he doesn’t really notice because he’s comfortable in his own skin. Great campaign though, smart move Dermablend. 

Normally I get annoyed of people reblogging this guy - but this is pretty cool.
