Another great shot from my last shoot with Renee, I’m so in love with this series she did of me.

Got to work with Renee of Fan the Flame yesterday and it was divine. More here.
My sister from another mister just completed a fantastic addition to her mermaid series - our favourite saucy swamp witch. Yes, VooDoo Baby as a mermaid! Check out her page for upcoming information on prints! Art by Sinically Twisted.
The launch of the VooDoo Baby website and web comic is going to be a bit delayed, we had some previous engagements we had to fulfill that put us behind schedule. We also had another cancer scare with our beloved dog, Krypto, but he’s proven once again he’s the three legged dog of steel and is doing fine.
I’ve been woefully neglectful of social networking sites as well, like tumblr, but my family comes first. And yes, that means my dogs. ;)
Join us for a two night gallery opening event for Amy Kollar Anderson’s (featured in Hi-Fructose Magazine) Wasp in a Wig exhibition. I’ve been fortunate enough to be her model for several paintings (3 will be on display this Friday) and her friend. I’ll be out May 4th, hope to see you there!
Myself, as the Scarlett Witch, getting a kiss from Uncle George (Perez) at the Pittsburgh Comicon. World famous writer and illustrator from the Avengers to Wonder Woman and truly a class act in the industry. Thanks to Howard Kim who captured the moment on film!
Detail shot of my mixed media sculpture, “Don’t Read Alone aka Dr. Pearson’s Last Study”, from the Phobia IV show this past Friday the 13th. Oddly enough, during the creation of this piece, a very bizarre experience took place with the doll. I may regard them with a bit more concern from now on.

Tomorrow night in Dayton at Club Aquarius! Join myself along with a bunch of other artists for some incredible art bringing to life various phobias plus drinking, dancing and socializing. Everyone will receive a ballot to vote for best in show. I’m very excited about my work since I’m representing pediophobia, the fear of dolls. See all you lovelies tomorrow on Friday the 13th.
Do you read helpful tidbits from the resident Gothic Miss Manners of our time? The dear sweet Ms. Jillian from Gothic Charm School? You really should. Plus check out her tumblr as right below, another acute assessment of far too much cranky when you could focus on the good and find your own path. Fashion blogs really seem an excuse for people to be whiny and critical instead of you know, going out and *doing* stuff.
Oh bless. There are “fashion” blogs complaining about “the kids” wearing vertical b&w stripes, and how they should just knock it off unless they really are Beetlejuice. I think I’ll wear one of my b&w striped blazers today, because I CAN.
Also, I am ALL FOR the proliferation of b&w…
